Privacy Policy
Numera (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Numera mobile application (the “App”).
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), authentication tokens.
- Profile & inputs: date of birth and preferred language (to generate numerology insights).
- Device & app data: app version, device model, OS, locale, country/region, crash diagnostics.
- Usage data: screens viewed, taps, and feature usage (aggregated or pseudonymous).
- Notifications: push token if you enable notifications.
- Purchases: subscription status and receipts (managed via app stores/RevenueCat).
- Advertising data: your device’s Advertising ID and related signals used for ads served through Google AdMob (see sections 5–7).
We do not collect payment card numbers; purchases are handled by Apple/Google via RevenueCat.
2. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
- Performance of a contract: to provide numerology insights and core App features.
- Consent: for personalized advertising and certain analytics; you can withdraw at any time in settings.
- Legitimate interests: to improve the App and prevent abuse, balanced against your rights.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To create and maintain your account and deliver personalized numerology content.
- To operate, analyze, and improve App performance and user experience.
- To send optional notifications and essential service messages.
- To manage purchases and subscriptions.
- To display advertisements and measure their performance (see sections 5–7).
- To keep the App secure, detect fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Third-Party Services
We work with trusted providers who process data on our behalf:
- Supabase — authentication and secure data storage.
- RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management.
- PostHog — product analytics (pseudonymous/aggregated).
- Expo Notifications — sending device notifications you opt into.
- Google AdMob — serving ads, measuring ad performance, and preventing fraud/abuse.
5. Advertising & Advertising ID
Numera displays ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device’s Advertising ID (AAID on Android, IDFA on iOS) and related signals to show ads, limit ad frequency, detect invalid activity, and measure performance. You can reset or limit use of this identifier in your device settings (see section 7).
6. Personalized vs. Non-Personalized Ads
Depending on your choices and applicable law, ads in Numera may be:
- Personalized ads — based on your interests or activity (requires your consent in the EEA/UK).
- Non-personalized (contextual) ads — based on context like app content or approximate location.
In the EEA/UK, we present a consent dialog (Google UMP) on first launch and when needed. You can update your ad choices at any time in the App’s Settings → Privacy (see section 8).
7. Opt-Out & Platform Controls
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID and/or Opt out of Ads Personalization.
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising → adjust permissions and ad settings.
8. Your Choices (In-App)
- Manage consent: Open Settings → Privacy in Numera to review or change your advertising consent (EEA/UK).
- Personalized vs. non-personalized: Switch between ad types where available.
- Notifications: Enable/disable push notifications in system settings.
- Data deletion: Request account/data deletion from Settings → Account or by contacting us.
9. International Transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs) to protect your information.
10. Your Rights (EEA/UK)
If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion
- Object to or restrict processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

11. Data Retention
We keep data only as long as necessary to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time.
12. Children’s Privacy
Numera is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA without parental consent). We do not knowingly collect data from children. Numera is not configured as a child-directed service in AdMob.
13. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email where appropriate.
